WHAT IS CLIMB THE WALL?
This year, our 18th -annual Climb The Wall will be held on February 24th, 2019. Climb the Wall is the BC Lung Association’s annual stair climb fundraiser in support of the 1 in 5 British Columbians struggling with lung conditions.
People of all fitness levels, and all ages take part while some participants climb solo, others as part of a team. This family-friendly event is open to adults and children alike, and is FREE for kids under the age of 12. And – should stair climbing not be an option – come on out, enjoy brunch, cheer our Climbers on and enjoy some unique Sunday morning fun!
This year 300+ Climbers are anticipated – many are participating in tribute to loved ones affected by lung disease, others are dedicated members of BC lung healthcare community – and as is tradition, we treasure the support of BC firefighters. Every year 100+ show up in support, completing for fastest climb time in their own competitive category wearing 70lbs+ of protective firefighting gear.
